Exhibition design consultancy for a private museum.
Hong Kong.
Opened November 2014.
F11 is a unique museum dedicated to all aspects of photography; the Museum’s collection includes photographic prints, photography books and camera’s. The museum is housed in a Grade III restored Art Deco building in Happy Valley, Hong Kong.
Working closely with Douglas So – the Museum’s founder- and Meta4 – the appointed architects – we consulted on design details relating to exhibition issues during the design and construction process and designed a family of exhibition furniture pieces that included tables, several showcases, seats and plinths.
We took part in the curatorial process for the inaugural exhibition of work by Magnum photographer Elliott Erwitt and designed collateral and signage for this show.
We also advised on the selection of chairs, sofas and tables used throughout the venue.
