A presentation of 13 photographic diptychs by French photographer Jean Philippe Lebee.
The exhibition design was informed by the scale of the venue, the relative small number of works -printed in a very large format, a small budget and the photographers request for a white space.
The solution was a platform made of low cost melamine board and minimal timber frames that presented the images as a spatial experience within the exhibition venue. The open windows created a dialogue between Hong Kong and the images of Paris. Long benches were added along the window facing edge of the platform, for visitors to enjoy the view and the photographs.
