Juxtapose

The exhibition presents a series of humorous interpretations of the intangible cultural heritage of Macao. The artworks are of a monumental scale and executed in iron rod. The works were illuminated using robotic stage lighting. The lights are programmed to slowly move across the artworks, while changing the color and focus of the light. The effect is a subtle change of the shadows cast by the iron, as if the sun rises and sets in just a few minutes.
