Swire Archives is a new generation corporate archive. It combines a regular archive facility with an multifunctional exhibition space. The archive is used for staff training, meetings, corporate events and dinners and for visits by and outreach to the general public.
The main exhibition is housed in a series of robotic cabinets that allow the space to be easily reconfigured. The exhibition’s displays make use of a mix of physical and digital presentation that invite exploration of Swire’s rich history. Several stand alone digital experiences explore specific categories of archive content such as portrait photography and construction drawings.
